Family Time Just got Interestingly…Big

Tablets had taken over the technology world at some point. You either heard of a tablet, own a tablet or one is currently collecting dusts because of Phablets. It is making a comeback.

Nabi, a manufacturing company that aims to please children just got even more interesting, and bigger, are making family time more fresh with their new 24″ and 20″ HD display tablet, the world’s biggest tablet made for sharing. With that screen, you do not have to share the TV with your kids!

Specs

The Nabi Big Tab, as mention above, comes with 24″ HD display at 1920×1080. It comes with 15-point capacitive touchscreen allowing every family member to take part in activities. Packing with NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, A15 Quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, this is not a slow tablet with bad graphic nor does it lack storage.

The build in Bluetooth allows you to connect to bluetooth enabled devices and it comes with their own version of Android 4.4 Kit Kat, Blue Morpho OS, that is pack with over 400 kid-focused, parent-approved features. It comes with Google Play store build in along with their own App Zone, made specifically for apps to suit the need of kids. Among the hidden gems are 13MP front facing camera and 30 minute backup of battery for portability.

Do not let the massive size fool you into thinking it is not portable around the house. It comes with a build-in handle and adjustable kickstand making the big family tablet perfect for room-to-room portability. This tablet does not emphasize on specs, even though it comes with pretty good ones, rather it focuses on family interactions and kid enjoyments.

Features

Big Canvas

My number one feature of this wonderful massive size tablet, is the Big Canvas allowing your kids, and yourself, to tap into your inner artists and movie maker.  With Dream Pro Studio, doodling and art just became easy. Movies can be made together, you can make cartoons together all in one screen, collaborate on creative projects and most importantly, allow your kid to tap into their creativeness.

Story Time

Who need story books with a full suit interactive books and learning apps on a 24″ / 20″ tablet in your kid’s room? Bedtime just got a whole lot interesting. I think this will be parents favorite features in the whole tablet. With over 35 free interactive e-books by iStory Time and Speakaboos, you have at least a month worth of materials here…assuming your kid stays up for it all!

Game Room

Next on the least of my favorite feature will be the Game Room. One game for the whole family! Great for family time, great for sleepover when their friends come over to create the ultimate social experience for your kids. It’s like a game board, but not really a game board. Does that make sense?Air hockey at your disposal! Heck, we can give checkers, chess, Backgammon, Tic Tac Toe and Hangman to challenge them intellectually.

Show Time

Last but not least and the most anticipated feature is Show Time. Movie night for the family, for that sleepover or for simply watching. Show Time is filled with collections of movies, music, eBooks, and apps from Disney, DreamWorks, and Cookie Jar Entertainment. It comes with parental controls and still allow the parents to control what their kids get to see depending on their age. On a 24″ screen tablet, movie night just got a new flare.

Conclusion

I will suggest this for any parents. Pricing at $449.99 and $549.99 for the 20″ and 24″ Nabi Big Tab respectively, it is affordable for all the features it provides. You can find the tablet at Costco, Target, Wal-Mart and directly on the nabi shop. With 18 other retail stores, online and in-store included, it is not really hard to get your hands on it.
