Omate Lutetia, Smartwatch for Women?

I went to Bestbuy the other day, excited to see what new technology is present for my eyes to dance and wandered over. The Samsun Galaxy Note 4 looked beautiful. The LG G3 looked beautiful. What was even more eye catching was the Smartwatches that accompanied them. The Samsung Gear, Moto 360, and the G Watch. Being the techy geek that I am, I was anxious to try them on. To my surprise (Not Really) they looked like a brick was just placed on my wrist! Just no! I mean I knew I had a slim wrist, but give a woman a break!

But wait…what is that? A Smartwatch just for women? You Madam got my attention!

Made with a female preference, the round smartwatch will make a great fashion wear for the ladies. The Omate Lutetia is powered with MediaTek’s Aster MT2502 platform and runs on Nucleus RTOS. With an LCD display covered with curved sapphire glass, this watch can be powered for a whole week. It can be paired to both an Android and to an iOS.

So What does it do exactly?

Being a notification watch, like most of the Smartwatches we have come to love, it also over pedometer, music playback, voice control features, serve as a stopwatch and as well as weather forecasts. This thing got a great future!

Smaller than the Moto 360 measuring at 12 mm in thickness and 40 mm in width, the Omate Lutetia can be pre-ordered for $170 at the Omate website. Shipments are expected in December.

So, who’s grabbing one? Ladies for your self? Gentlemen for your lady?…Me? :O
